i've never tried the neti pot, but i do my own blend of nasal irrigation whenever my sinuses feel whacked out. plus i like to make sounds like "ungahhh" and roll my eyes back as if the solution snorted from my hand was more than warm water, salt, and baking soda. afterwards, do like anna nalick says, and just breathe.
